Framed black and white photograph of an unidentified WWI Soldier. The soldier is seated in a studio wearing a full military uniform and cap. On his proper left arm of his jacket, he has a Staff Sergeant’s insignia of three chevrons closed by a rounded bar at the bottom, enclosing a green field. On the bottom left of the photograph, handwritten in white ink, text reads, [Jackson / Studio / [illegible]]. The wooden frame is painted a metallic silver and has a felt bottom. The photograph sits between two stands, a base, and has circular hinges on each side that allows it to swing. On the top corners of the frame is a decorative scroll pattern. Parts of the paint and frame are missing and the wooden interior can be seen. The back of the frame is cardboard attached on all four sides by tape.
