Final note by Francisco Albo in Ferdinand Magellan's course in request of the Strait. Starting from Cape St. Augustine. Francisco Albo made his final note on the Course when he saw the long-awaited Cape St. Vincent on the return journey, writing "At four o'clock of said morning, we saw land, and it was Cape St. Vincent to the northeast. As such, we changed course to east-southeast to move away from the Cape." Just two days later, they arrived at Sanlúcar de Barrameda after nearly 3 years, having navigated—according to his records—14,000 leagues and having "circumnavigated the entire circumference of the world, heading toward the west and arriving from the East."
