Double chin. He wears a black coat, with a white lace jabot topped by a red bow and, under it, a ribbon in the same color holding an oval medallion with the insignia of the Order of Christ. Right arm articulated across the chest; hand under white lace fist, holding kind of stick. Dark background. In the upper left corner, in white characters, the inscription: "D^FRANCISCO^Xer^/DE^TAVORA^". Francisco Xavier de Távora (April 13, 1687 - ?) was a Portuguese colonial administrator. He ruled Rio de Janeiro from 1713 to 1716.
