Fred Friedrich is a German painter, sculptor, and architect whose works of art are linked to Neo-Expressionism, within the currents of action painting—one of the Postmodern Art currents that emerged in the 80s, known as Neue Wilde—and subsequently to Abstract Expressionism, Informalism, and the Avant-garde. His art bravely confronts fundamental questions about divinity, belief, and the unrealized potential of the human being.
