Fred Nile anti-gay march on Oxford Street

Anti-gay campaigner Reverend Fred Nile led a march of around 1,000 people along Oxford Street, the traditional route of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, ending at a stage, PA system and rally at Taylor Square. The marchers were met by a considerably larger counter-protest by the gay and lesbian community and their supporters.
