Fred Perry at Wimbledon

At a statue dedication in 1984, Wimbledon honored Fred Perry for his three consecutive championships from 1934 to 1936. Perry, pictured in front of the statue that still stands on the grounds, was the first player to win a Career Grand Slam and remains the only British player to have ever done so.
