In the Orbiter Processing Facility, STS-117 Commander Frederick (Rick) Sturckow checks out the cockpit of the orbiter Atlantis, the vehicle for the mission. He and other crew members are at KSC to take part in a Crew Equipment Interface Test that allows them opportunities to become familiar with equipment and hardware for their mission. STS-117 will deliver the S3/S4 and another pair of solar arrays to the space station.
