Fribourg & Treyer, 34 Haymarket, Westminster, London

This late 18th-century shopfront is a remarkable survival in a street that has witnessed extensive redevelopment over the centuries. Until 1982 it was occupied by the tobacco and snuff dealer, Fribourg & Treyer. The founder, Peter Fribourg, was at this address in 1751, though the shopfront seems slightly later in date. It is listed Grade II*.
