Das Denkmal für König Friedrich II. von Preußen wurde 1899 von Joseph Uphues (1850–1911) erschaffen. Es ist die Nachbildung der Statue, die in der Siegesallee im Berliner Tiergarten stand. Die Marmorstatue stand ursprünglich im Parterre vor der Neptungrotte, 1927 erhielt sie ihren heutigen Standort.
