Frieze

Design of frieze consists of large-scale scroll of stem and leaves with a large petaled flower in center of every other scroll. Alternate has a pomegranate growing from top of leafy scroll. The design is old ivory background with touches of copper bronze. Design is heavily gilded in outline which is embossed. Border top and bottom. Top is wider and has turquoise band top and bottom with Indian red field with graduated crescents confronting a circle. Crescents alternate in gold and copper bronze. Narrowbottom border same in coloring with a wave-like design.
