Frieze

Flitter frieze with a continuous scroll design of alternating leaves suggestive of acanthus and large stylized flower. Identical bands top and bottom, the top band design is inverted: a three-petalled fleur-de-lis. Portions of design have lines of ground and gilded mica. To be used with 1946-17-5; gilded design with gilt mica and red wool flock field. Design embossed in pebble effect.
