From Finnmark

A reindeer walks into a tiny lake in a colourful and rocky landscape. Other animals stand on a big rock further away, and in the distance, there's a fjord and mountains.

Saal was a German painter who was best known for his paintings of Norwegian landscapes. He was classmates with the famous Norwegian painter Hans Gude, at the art academy if Düsseldorf. The two travelled to Norway several times, to paint and experience the Norwegian nature.
