From Kabelvåg

The village on the coast, wooden houses scattered on the rocks. In the background, the church and a mountain in the sunshine. Kabelvåg is a fishing village close to Juul's childhood home, Dypfjorden. Many of his paintings have motifs like this, small villages, everyday situations and landscape from the northern Norwegian coast.
