The worshipping of global brands, the idolizing of celebrities, the commercialization of ritual ceremonies in the tourism industry, and the commercials shown repeatedly so that the slogans can be memorized, have become the order of the day. The middle-class workers gladly save their salary every mont to buy new "designed in California, made in China" gadgets, which may increase the user's self confidence.
