Artefacts recovered from the wreck of the SS City of Launceston. The steam ship was wrecked in Port Phillip Bay in 1865 while travelling from Melbourne to Launceston. The saloon class passengers travelled in great luxury, and ate at a mahogany table from a dinner set produced especially for the ship's owners: The Launceston Melbourne Steam Navigation Company.
