  • About the series: 34 Years after Revolution: Revolution is an important event in any society and in France, Cuba, and Iran and recently in some Arabic countries it has been so meaningful. But in any revolution, society encounters miserable problems whether it is before or after. Frantz Fanon has said, “Revolution eats its children.” Since after a year of this victory, an eight year war took place between Iran and Iraq, as result of which many people died before they had got even a taste of their previous victory. This work is a review on events in Iran since the Revolution of 1978.
  • About the Photographer: Yasaman Dehmiani, b.1992, Iran, is in her fifth term of Photography from Azad University. Besides photography, she works as an artefacts teacher for children and also teaches at an adult art club. She started with a small digital camera – this was her first motive of starting a new life. Now she wishes to be a documentary photographer, after learning and experimenting more in this field. She has exhibited her work at a few photography festivals in Iran.
