About the series: The Indian Grandchildren of Europe:
When he started working on this project, Arindam was simply trying to document the lives of one of the youngest yet fastest diminishing communities in the world. It could have been a sad story. But no – with time, he came to understand that although thousands have migrated abroad, and thousands have married into other communities, dilution isn’t the only reality of the Anglo-Indians. Through this project, he discovered a community with a tremendous pride for their Indian origin, far from desperation, rather boldly reasserting their identity.
