About the series: Wound: The nature of the concept of woman and femininity has always been the subject of many debates through different points of view in societies. The concept of femininity can be addressed from different aspects, though the most important factor in formation of this collection is investigating the issue of trauma or psychological trauma as Freud mentions. Samad Ghorbanzadeh has expressed this concept in the photographic series, Wound.
About the Photographer: Samad Ghorbanzadeh, b.1984, Iran, believes that he has been born twice, the first time being when his eyes opened and the second when his camera opened his eyes to the world. The form and content in his work have the same value, and he has always tried to show a world blended with the real as well as surreal.
