Torquay, Australia

There was a boom in surfing in the early/mid 60s. Tracker was one of the few earliest Australian surf wear manufacturers making shorts for surfers. Boardshorts were an in demand item for the growing ranks of beach loving surfers and for those who just wanted to hang at the beach and look cool. Early branded beach wear like these Tracker shorts pointed the way to the next generation of surfers/entrepreneurs that created global surf clothing empires.
