Inside his studio, standing on a ladder, a sculptor is working on a statue of a woman while a model poses. His studio is filled with sculptures such as dogs, a bust of a woman, and an elephant attacked by a tiger. The latter is a photographic reproduction of a drawing or an engraving whereas the others are all cut out from photographs.
