The phoenix coronet lady figurine Front

Wangye Museum

Wangye Museum
Shenzhen, China

This woman was dressed in feathered ornaments, a phoenix coronet, Bi Xi(knee's covering) and leather belt, all of which were consistent with the name "Di Yu" recorded in Song Shi Yu Fu Zhi( History of Song Record of Vehicle and Clothes). The finery collocation is the clothes and hat of Ming Fu(a woman in ancient China who was given a rank by the emperor) that only can be wore by empress and imperial concubines at the 12th century. Its pattern is extremely valuable for the study of Chinese costume history.
