Haini Women’s Indigo Blouse with Vertical Placket Front

The handmade foundation cloth of this blouse was taken as “canvas” by the Hani women who painted on it with embroidery threads and embellish it with small silver plates and colorful appliques. The expression of patterns on this garment is enriched by the combination of two totally different decoration techniques, the dot-based form-making method by small silver plates and the line-based technique of embroidery.
