The project for the new Mudec building does not include a street front. It is surrounded on all four sides by existing historical buildings with uniformly articulated elevations, and is inspired by a typical Milanese typology where regular façades conceal the intricate arrangement of internal courtyards behind. The most valuable element of the former industrial complex, from an architectural point of view, is precisely the street front of via Tortona, built in the first half of the 20th century.
