My name is Mercy, I’m a resident of Nairobi and an inmate at Lang’ata Women’s Prison I am proud of the work I do with Carakana’s cross stitch project because I am financially empowered to take care of my needs and that of my child who is in my younger sister’s care. I know even as I complete my time here in prison when I go home they will receive me and Carakana made that possible. God bless you!
