Funerary couch (kline)

Funerary couch from a rectangular chamber tomb, carved out of the rock and originally positioned on one of the two short sides of the room. The front of the bed has cushions at each end and a relief decoration consisting of two moulded vertical supports and a crossbar, decorated with palmettes, studs and chequerboard motifs painted in red with the fresco technique.
