This is a Spanish rifle with a caliber of 18.3 mm, and is a 1797 model. Second version for Infantry. Muzzle-loading; smoothbore. The first third of the barrel is octagonal, while the rest of it is a truncated conical shape. Miquelet lock. 1789 model.

This rifle is rare and of great importance. It was the last type of rifle used by the Spanish army to have a flintlock mechanism. It was used with paper cartridges and 27-gram round bullets.
