Fyodor Ivanovich Tyutchev, a passionate lover of horses, excellent hunter, and good photographer was not by chance photographed in front of the carriage house. The carriage house, which has not survived, enclosed the farmyard on the north. It was connected by an underground passage to the basement of the main manor house. On the right in the frame is the ironing house, one of thirty-seven service buildings that were on the estate. The function of this building is clear from its name.
