On the third day Joseph said to them: "If you are sincere, one of your brothers remains a prisoner in the prison and you go to bring the grain for the hunger of your houses. Then you will bring your younger brother to me so your words will prove themselves. true and you will not die".
He chose Simeon among them and had him chained under their eyes. Then he gave orders to fill their sacks with grain, put each one's money back into each sack, and provide themselves with provisions for the journey.
