A classic children's dexterity game first published in 1967, Don't Spill the Beans makes a fun contest between even the very youngest players. Just like Candy Land, Don't Spill the Beans requires no reading to enjoy. The Schaper Toy manufacturers produced several similar toddler toys, based perhaps on the perennial success of the firm's founding game, Cootie. Other products include Ants in the Pants and Don't Break the Ice. Schaper is recognized for its early use of plastic in toys and games. This early example of Don't Spill the Beans utilizes real dried beans. Later versions featured plastic beans.
