The firm J.H. Singer invented the dexterity game "The Cocked Hat" and sought a patent for it in 1892. The game stands as unique; players attempt to score using balls which hang on the end of cords attached to poles. A deluxe game, Cocked Hat came packed in a special wood box, with a sliding lid.
