Luftwaffe: The Game of Aerial Combat Over Germany 1943-45 is a bookshelf-style war strategy game made by the Avalon-Hill Company in 1971. Luftwaffe was similar in style to Panzerblitz, also published by Avalon just one year earlier. But Luftwaffe never really reached the success level of Panzerblitz--which was a good seller for the company. Still, the game is traded even today on the secondary market, so it did develop a following.
