Founded in 1979 with the expertise of two established wargame designers, Yaquinto Publications made numerous innovations in the form, most notably in its series of Album Games that resembled the packaging of double record albums. Although the company's output emphasized wargames, it also produced role-playing games and more traditional board games, including one based on the "Dallas" television series. The rise of personal computers in simulation gaming brought the firm's game operations to a close in 1983.
