game: Tales of the Crystals

In 1993 game designer and author Christy Marx wrote the extensive script for the young girls' introductory role-playing game Tales of the Crystals--which includes an audio cassette with specific instructions for the players. Among her many accomplishments, Marx conceived of and served as head writer for the animated television series "Jem and the Holograms," which ran from 1985 to 1988. Marx currently writes for Zynga, a video game manufacturer specializing in social games such as Farmville.
