The game Tiddledy Winks originated in England in 1889. It became a near-instant popular hit and soon manufacturers in the United States hurried to bring out versions. Ives, Blakeslee, & Williams company produced this wooden-boxed version, proclaiming it "fun for the entire home circle" on the box cover. Professional Tiddledy Winks clubs still exist in England.
