Noir is an artist with direct political intentionality. He claims to be the first street artist to have made work on the Berlin wall, and enjoys a large amount of recognition and success. This work in particular, realized for Le M.U.R, a three by eight metre billboard in Paris’ 11th Arrondissement, set aside by the city council for the purpose of promoting urban art, reflects upon the 2012 French presidential election.
