Garden Scene

This painting titled ‘Garden Scene’ is by Henry G. Hoyland (1894-1948), an artist who lived in Dulwich. It’s thought he painted it in his local area, and it depicts a peaceful summer moment with ladies sewing under a parasol, and a neighbour tending cold frames beyond.
