The twin brothers known as Sobekcis were born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1991. After completing high school in 2010, both began studying graphic design in the class of Kartak at the University of Applied Arts Vienna.

Since returning to Belgrade in early 2015, their focus has shifted from figurative forms in their earlier works to a new body of fine art that emphasizes forms, color, and compositions. They explore the interplay between natural and unnatural forms and construct images through subconscious gestures and shapes, arranged and executed in a conscious way. Their work aims to correspond to the ideal of abstract art, incorporating the push and pull of contrasting elements.

In their studio work, they aim to retain the sensibility developed through their experience with graffiti in outdoor settings while creating a new representation of the same energy.
