Sui Jianguo rejects visual habits arising from his education, and activates the presence of his body with the state of the "blind". The body contains his "memory" in the past more than 60 years, where there are rules and marks of professional education as well as the retention of various experiences. The release in the obscured visual state allows the sculpture clay to print every subtle movement of his body. He spent more than 5 years working on 3D print magnification to ensure the perfect presentation of these details when magnified.

This set of works of Gemini is his mark in the state of boxing sculpture clay. The use of boxing gloves makes it impossible for him to carry out traditional sculpture with his hands. On the one hand, the defamiliarization of sculpture tools is to show the level the body is not accustomed to displaying; on the other hand, this extreme treatment of sculpture clay also awakens another kind of "materiality" which was not known before. (written by Liu Libin, the associate professor of CAFA, critic, and curator of "Empathy")

These works were shown in "Empathy", a group exhibition of contemporary sculptures at the Song Art Museum from August 24, 2018, to February 17, 2019.
