This picture shows the areas included in the archaeological intervention related to the restoration project of the Cathedral, promoted by
the Fundación Catedral de Santiago along with the cooperation
of the Spanish Government’s Ministry of Transport, Mobility and
Urban Agenda: the baroque staircase leading to the western
entrance of the cathedral as well as the Crypt of the Portico of
Glory, located in the Portico’s
foundations.
