Key-wind watch with brass movement. Verge fusee, 1/4 repeater. Engraved, "Jn. Nias. Menu A Geneve" on reverse. White enamel dial reads, "Jn. Nicolas Menu, A Geneve" and has hours marked in Roman numerals and minutes in Arabic numbers in 5-minute increments. Gold case has open-faced front with glass crystal, encircled by 77 clear rhinestones. Back cover of case has central enamel portrait of woman wearing black corsetted dress. Portrait is framed by multi-gold applique work and additional clear rhinestones. Small brass key accompanies watch.
