Geographical work of al-Idrisi

Reproduction of al-Idrisi work. Born in Ceuta in the year 1100, the geographer al-Idrisi carried out his geographical work commissioned by the king of the court of Sicily, Roger II. His manuscript, conserved in the National Library of France, is completed with 70 maps, one for each section based on 7 climates in which it was divided the land known at that time.
