In this view, one of two by the artist depicting an undergraduate's room at Oxford College (probably in Christ Church), bright sun entering through two windows on the right casts a shadow on the furniture. Between the windows, a rococo cabinet is placed above a book cabinet. A window seat, valance and curtains are upholstered in the same fabric. A partial view of another building at Oxford College is seen through the rightmost window.
