Agricultural scientist George Washington Carver holds a sheaf of Queen Anne's Lace inside the Carver Memorial Cabin in Greenfield Village. Carver came to Dearborn in July 1942 for the dedication of this cabin, which Henry Ford built to honor his friend. The cabin is based on Carver's own sketches of the slave cabin in Missouri in which he was born.
