Giant hedgehog

This is no longer a cute hedgehog, this is a monster! On Gargano Island, the animal had no natural enemies, unlike on the mainland. It was therefore able to evolve into a giant hedgehog (Deinogalerix). That’s what they call the island rule: small animals get bigger and big animals get smaller.
