Similar to a bandbox paper of the 1830s. Medallion has large giraffe with two oriental figures pulling at its bridle reins. This alternates vertically with small medallion of a lion-like cat with forked tail (probably mythological). Repeating background pattern of small white dots of two sizes. Printed on blue ground.
