Wang Liuqiu, Chaoan Guangdong province origin, born in Thailand. In 1945 he graduated from Art Department of Lu Xun Literature and Art Academy and Arts, then engaged art work in the army. He had been a journalist in Jianghuai Pictorial, the chief of cultural troupe, the vice-header of art team in propaganda department. In 1950 he taught in The East China branch of The Central Academy of Fine Arts, then taught in Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts as a professor. He was the expert in oil painting and art education. Several of his paintings were collected by Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Jiangsu Provincial Art Museum, art institutions in Thailand.
