The interment order for Thomas Ashe, confirming that the grave had been purchased and that the burial could go ahead. His funeral was intended to echo that of O'Donovan Rossa, and was organised on a large scale to garner further support for the burgeoning separatist cause that was reinvigorated in the wake of the Easter Rising (Glasnevin Trust).
