Glass window with Fangsheng pattern and begonia pattern frame

The central part of the "Begonia" is inlaid with blue flowers and grass pattern glass painting. The subject is based on the powder model painted by "Bada Shanren". "Bada Shanren" is the famous painter Zhu Da (1626-about 1705) in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. He was from Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. His courtesy name was Ren'an and his pseudonym was "Bada Shanren". He was the ninth-generation grandson of Zhu Quan, the seventeenth son of Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty. After the fall of the Ming Dynasty, he became a monk and was named Shi Chuanjing. He was a master of Chinese painting.
