This postcard shows Clara Barton’s Glen Echo home with rollercoaster tracks. The rollercoaster screeched by her window and a Ferris wheel was located at the side of the house. Park owners wanted to pressure Barton out of the house so they could turn it into a hotel. She was happy to see the manager replaced. A handwritten note signed by Miss Barton on the postcard thanks friends for their letters and friendship.
