Title vignette (armillary sphere). Written in the form of a dialogue. Signatures: A-Z�p Leaves printed on both sides. Contains two celestial cartography whole sky illustrations near the center. The first, a fold-out entitled "Le Globe Celeste," is a double planisphere map from the internal perspective, using the ecliptic coordinate system. Note four stars near Antarctic pole. The second, on p. 37, is an equatorial projection from the external perspective. Very few stars are plotted -- mainly just a sketch of general placement of the constellations.
